The reason why all previous historical interpretations about the last days Prophecies were only patchwork and missed the right point from the beginning, is above all due to the fact, that according to God´s order the biblical prophecy was «closed and sealed until the last days», and therefore also no one could understand it right before the beginning of the last days!
But you Daniel, close up the words and "seal the book until the time of the end"; many will it then research, and so the knowledge will increase. (Daniel 12,4.) Many will be selected, to be cleaned and chastened, but the godless will act godless; and none godless will have for this understanding, but those who are wise will understand. (Daniel 12,10.)

The eschatological character of the
gospel was discovered first around the turn of the century, whereby the
civil safety feeling itself locked for the acute meaning of these dooms
day destiny. Therefore become us first by the uncanny events, which reveal
the end of the world, the eyes opened for the simultaneousness with this
eschatological gospel. This extinction will execute itself at the modern
world and places therefore to the preaching a completely determined task.
We may not evade to this task (...); because the extinction has to be for
us to the entrance into the eschatological gospel, which thereby becomes
simultaneous...
Theologians and Christians (...) are not under those, which foresaw the terrible disaster, in which we are now...
Just the dying church life would be for they enough cause to consider about the threatening extinction. The reason for
it lies once in the unclear and conflicting relations of the Protestantism to the modern world, above all however in
the ineradicable urge of the clergy, to extract itself in such times from the extinction. Even the gospel will abused
for these rescue attempts...
The world, which goes to fall before our eyes, is the world of the European civilization... With the victory of the
papacy over the imperial rule has also the church development their high point exceeded, and it begun already here the
rigidity and dissolution. The Reformation could not overcome this decline and fall, so that broke the unit of the
church... Under the guidance of the natural science a purely internal worldly atmosphere and a never been before
development of soulless energies, which created a dazzling illusory world of the large cities and industries and
subjected to the power of the capital. This modern world goes to fall in a procedure, which appears first as
self-destruction and it can be also so to understood. The deeper reason however about this disaster of the modern world
lies in an apostasy, by which it received its internal worldly character. It was not formed and arranged from the
Christian religion. This European civilization expanded its controlling and at the same time destructive influence on
the whole earth.

The history of the interpretation of the Daniel book is more exciting than every other interpretation history of any Biblical book - with the exception of the Revelation. In addition the interpretation makes unusual difficulties. Because Daniel belongs to the most difficult books of the Bible, the literature concerning it is immense, and the interpreters offers the most diverse and inconsistent explanations...

We find the first safe traces of a Daniel use and interpretation in the Qumran community, which of approx. 150 B.C. to A.D. 68 the settlement Qumran, near the north west bank of the Dead Sea inhabited. From the hiding places, the neighbouring caves, came altogether seven fragments from the Daniel book to the light. ... One of the fragments is dated back to the 2nd Century B.C...
Jesus itself studied and used Daniels book according to the testimony of the gospels and resumed Daniel's prophecy. Also Paulus in the 1st Epistle to the Corinthians and in the 2nd Epistle to the Thessalonians and Jude made use of Daniel's book. For the N.T. the emphasis lies clearly on the prophecy Daniel's, which will be completely fulfilled only in the future. Just as clearly will the Son of Man, of Daniel 7, referred to Jesus as Messias...
The author of the book is (thus) Daniel itself. Because the book is so old, someone could show it in the year 332 B.C. Alexander the Great, when this came with his conquest also through Palestine. Alexander recognized itself as the "King of Greece" in according to Daniel 8.21.
"The Revelation of John is the most abused book of the Bible, from all the enthusiast rapes, from the intellectual ones despised. But that should make sensitive, because this book share obviously in special way the fate of the message of the crucified Christ, which is the Jews a nuisance and the Greeks a foolishness." Concluding remark: Why all past historical interpretations were only patchwork and usually already in the beginning wrong, lies above all in it justified, that the biblical prophecy on God behest, was until to the time of the end locked and sealed, and it therefore also no one could understand before the beginning of the last days:
But you, Daniel, close up the words and seal the book until the time of the end; many will it then research, and so the knowledge will increase. (Dan.12,4.) Many will be selected, to be cleaned and chastened, but the godless will act godless; and none godless will have for this understanding, but those who are wise, will it understand. (Dan. 12,10.)

The establishment of the God realm!
By the prophecys of Daniel and the Apocalypse of John we get a comprehensive overview of the process of the world history from Egypt into ours by crises through-shaken century, and receive clear referring to an imminent catastrophic world end. John writes:
I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. - (Rev.13.1-2).
In the past nineteen hundred years had this seven
headed monster, that in accordance with the Apocalypse at the end of the world does come up out
from the sea of peoples, always again stimulated the fantasy of humans lively and them enticed to
the wildest speculations. But the time was not ripe to understand it and nobody could solve this secret.
But today, in the time of the end, in which the Biblical Prophecy is no more locked and sealed
(Dan.124), and the Times of the Nations are fulfilled, it might not
be any longer all too difficult, to lift the veil of the secrecy.
First it is noticeable that the seven headed beast is consist of four large beasts, which play an world-historical role in the night vision of Daniel and they embody there four world realms, which up-rose likewise from the sea of peoples. The Prophet reports:
I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove against upon the great sea. And four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.
The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off; and it was lifted up from the ground so that it stood on two feet like a man, and a human heart was given to it.
And behold, there was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its side, and had in its muzzle under its teeth three large, long teeth. And one spoke to it:"Rise up and devour much flesh!"
After this I saw, and behold, another beast, equal a leopard, and on its back it had four wings like those of a bird and this beast had four heads; and it was given authority.
After this I saw in the night vision, and behold the fourth beast was dreadful and terrible and strong exceedingly and it had iron teeth, it devoured around itself and crushed, and trampled the residue with its feet; and it was quite differently from all the former beasts; and it had ten horns... And (an angel) talked to me, and gave me the interpretation of these things: These four great beasts are four kingdoms, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. (Daniel 7).
By a comparison of the Revelation with the Prophecy of Daniel becomes clearly:
the seven headed beast has
from the 4. beast the ten horns (Dan.7,7.)
from the 3. beast the shape of leopard (Dan.7,6.)
from the 2. beast the feet of bear (Dan.7,5.)
from the 1. beast the mouth of lion (Dan.7,4.)
Also the number of the heads corresponds with the heads of the
four large beasts from the night face Daniels: the leopard has four heads, and the three remaining beasts each
of them has one head - altogether thus seven heads.
It is very interesting, that the four large beasts from the night face Daniels in the Revelation are designated
in rear order, which occurs certainly not without intention and it does undoubtedly refer in the review on the
historical descent of the seven headed beast. Therefore it appears also required to begin first with the Daniel
Prophecy.
These four large beasts, which saw Daniel
up-rising successively from the sea of peoples, represents according to the interpretation of the angel
four kingdoms , thus will come on the earth.
In following of a dream face Nebuchadnezzars, one assumed so far falsely, the number of the four
(world)empires, like in the dream Nebuchadnezzars, also in the night face
Daniels would begin with Babylon; an interpretation, which becomes the
historical facts however in no way righteous.
In the second chapter of the Daniel book will reported: Nebuchadnezzar saw in the night in a dream
a statue of humans, which was assembled from gold, silver, copper, iron and tone.
A stone, which itself separated from a mountain without effort of human hands, hit the statue on its iron
and tone feet and destroyed it.
There became at one blow destroyed the iron and the tone, the copper, the silver and the gold and
scattered themselves like the chaff in the summer on the threshing floors, and the wind blew it, so
that no more track was to be found from them.
After the interpretation Daniels represents this enormous statue of humans the world
history from Babylon to the beginning of the God realm; whereby Babylon is represented by the golden head,
and the realm of God by the stone, which smashed up the statue and became a large mountain.
While Nebuchadnezzar had his dream equal in the beginning time of his government, the night face
Daniels is dated into the reign Belshazzars, the last king of the babylonians dynasty. For this reason it
would be complete missed, to want assumes, Daniel had received at the end of the babylonians time a
prophesy of the future, which this Babylon still announces.
Therefore can be these four large beasts, thus will come on the earth, only those
world realms, which followed successively after Babylon.
The same view represents also Dr. Gerhard Maier in his book " The Prophet Daniel ":
Who is this first beast? Most researchers say: Babylonian... For the interpretation on Babylonian speaks the observation, that Nebuchadnezzar or the Babylonians in the Bible are compared repeatedly with the lion or eagle.
On the other hand the other observation speaks that the lion can be just as well a picture for Assyrian, Egypt or the Medopersia.
In addition comes the consideration, that Daniel at the end of the babylonian time ( we are in the year 548 B.C., thus only nine years before the fall of the babylonian realm ! ) probably hardly a future prophecy would have received, which announces this Babylon still.
Insofar, the situation is quite different than in chapter 2, which can be dated on 603/602 B.C. and so falls on the beginning of the heyday under Nebuchadnezzar. Therefore it is better to point the first beast from Dan. 7 to Medo-Persian. The fact that the latter in chapter 8 is represented under the picture of a ram does not disturb. The Babylonians drove the Assyrians out from Babylon
under Nabopolassar and conquered together with the Medes 614 B.C. Asshur. In July/August 612 B.C. Nineveh succumbed,
so as predicted by Nahum and Zephaniah, to their supremacy. Assyrias existence came to an end, and its area fell to
the Babylonians. 1
By intelligent diplomacy could the son and successor of the throne Nabopolassars, Nebuchadnezzar II. (605-562 B.C.)
during his forty-two year long reign, always successfully keep away the powerful becoming Medes.
When Nabonid was king of Babel (555-539 B.C.), entrusted this after the chronicle to his son Belshazzar - obvious a
grandson Nebuchadnezzar II. (Daniel 5) - the army and the government. And during Nabonid undertook a course to inside
Arabia, where he was staying ten years long, exercised Belshazzar in Babylon the government business.

took the realm, when he was sixty-two years old. ( Daniel 5 and 6 )
The announcement of the fall Babylons received Belshazzar during a banquet by a handwriting on the wall.
It read: Mene, mene, tekel uparsin.
And the interpretation Daniels is the following:
Mene = God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end;
Tekel = You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting;
Peres = Your kingdom is divided and given to the MEDES and PERSIANS.
I (Daniel) saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove against upon the great sea. And four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.In the book of Daniel (8,3) is described the change of power within the enormous realm of the Medes, which led to the foundation of the medopersian double monarchy, as follows:
The first (beast) was like a lion, and had wings like an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off; and it was lifted up from the earth, so that it stood on two feet like a man. After conquest Assyrians prevailed the winged lion of Median over an enormous realm. But in the long term the Medes could not maintain their supremacy. In the far Ansam had itself Cyrus, which was a lower king of the landscape Persis (= province Fars) and from the house of the Achaemenids, raised up against the force of the Medes. He tore out the wings from the median lion, threw off 550 B.C. the upper reign of the Medes and penetrated victoriously into the northwest. After he had conquered also Babylon, he created the realm of the Medes and Persians, a double world realm, which was formed by two state-carrying peoples, so that after biblical version the medopersian lion from now on was on two feet like a man.
In the following period of times merged together the MEDES and PERSIANS and they divided itself the same fates. 4
I looked up and saw, and see, a ram was standing before the river, that had two high horns, but one more highly than the other one, and the higher one was grown up later.
After the interpretation of the angel represents the ram with its two differently high horns the kings of Media and Persia. The smaller horn of the ram symbolize at first the alone ruling power of the medians kings. After however their power was broken and the Persians had achieved the supremacy in the realm, the second higher horn grew up to the ram, so that the ram from now on embodied the Median and the Persian kings with its two differently high horns. (Dan. 820).
and a human heart was given to it. The Persian large kings, who surrounded themselves in their residences with Eastern splendor and an almost divine admiration enjoyed, were moderate rulers. They let to the subjected peoples their religion, their language and morals, even their own internal administration and required only depending on property gradated tribute payments and the formation of troops in the event of a war. 5
Thus for an example the Jews was allowed - after Cyrus had read in "the book of the prophecies" the two hundred ten years in former times written prophecy Isaiahs (4428; 451-8) - after 70 years babylonian imprisonment (Jer.2511-12) to go back to their homeland and to rebuilt their temple (2.Chr.3622-23). The Jewish historian Flavius Josephus (born 37 A.D.) reported:
Thus the king Cyrus speaks: As the all-powerful God made me to the king of the whole earth, I believe, that he is it, who is worshiped by the people of the Israelite. He let my name by the prophets predict and proclaim, that I would again rebuilt his temple in Jerusalem in the country Judaea... 6
This was suppose the actual reason, why
to the Medo-Persian lion,
so that he could behave humanly and released the Jewish prisoners
after seventy years from the babylonian slavery.
The Greek bear had oneself in its anger straightened up on one of its side - certainly with the face to the east, from where it cames the Persian attacks - and protected by its embittered resistance Europe from the Persians clutches.Around 500 B.C., the Greek cities in Asia Minor were, supported from the mother country, rebellious against the Persian supremacy. The rebellion was suppressed. As however the Perser 490 B.C. with a retaliation campaign also Greece wanted to subjugate, stoped the embittered resistance of the Greeks their further penetrating to the West and thus also to Europe (defeats in the near of Marathon, Salamis (Cyprus) and Plataea). The Persian realm got thereby a turning point in its history. 7
In the further process of the war Persia was pushed into the defense and had to give up the coast of Asia Minor. Throne disputes favoured besides rebellions in the western realm areas, which could be held down only with large trouble. Old Persia received the mortal blow, when Alexander 334 B.C. exceeded the Dardanelles. In 7 years was subjugated the Persian realm; the last large king, Darius III., was murdered by one of his satraps. 8
In the year 323 B.C. Alexander died after a short, but inconceivably successful life. His generals divided the enormous realm, and around 275 B.C. three large diadochus states was developed under Hellenistic leadership. 9
Alexander, which had annexed in seven years the whole Persia, is embodied by the Greek bear. The teeth in the muzzle of the bear illustrate the Greek army, with whose assistance he could devour the large Persian colossus, respectively he had devoured the much meat.
And with the three large, long teeth in the muzzle of the bear it concerns certainly about the Generals of Alexander, which themselves divided up after his death the enormous realm:
After the death Alexanders was collapses the realm. His generals, the diadochus, fought for many decades about the heir. Finally was arised in the areas of Alexanders realm, above all three larger national territories, the Seleucids realm in Syria, the Ptolemaeer realm in Egypt and the Antigonian realm from Antigonus in Macedonia and Greece. 10
With its four wings the leopard had expanded its sphere of influence enormously into the four corners of the earth, and ROM was ascended to the alone-dominant world power.The rising Rome had in numerous wars in 4. and 3. century B.C. the reign over its neighbours in central and south Italy and by the victory over the powerful trading nation of the Carthages the supremacy in the western Mediterranean achieved. In 2. century B.C. the ROMANS conquered also Greece, Macedonia and Syria. Their realm had become a world realm. They were endeavored constantly to extend their sphere of influence. Around 100 B.C. it covered in its largest expansion Europe west the Rhine and southern the Danube, England, south-west german area, the major part of Romania, Asia Minor, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and North Africa. Focal point of this realm was the city ROM.
From the Roman history we know, that the unify strength, which had expected Constantine from the Christianity, was too weak. Among the sons of the emperor Theodosius came it to the realm-partition: Arcadius (A.D. 395-408) received the East (east Rome; Byzantine realm), and Honorius (A.D. 395-423) the West (west Rome; Capital Ravenna).
While the east Roman realm continued to exist as Byzantine realm to A.D. 1453, the west Roman realm was conquered in the year A.D. 476 by the Teutons. Soon they established independent kingdoms on Roman ground. The most of them was again quickly collapses, or by the east Roman emperors were they destroyed. Others again does exist still today, like the realm of the Anglos and Saxons in England.
Also the Roman province Gaul was flooded by the Teutonic tribes. Around 450 A.D. only the core of the province was kept steadfast, the country around the Seine with the capital Paris as an autonomous outguard of the west Roman realm.
The East and the West of the Roman Realm, which had itself developed after the partition of the realm to an autonomous and competitive Roman realms, are represented in the Daniel prophecy exact by two of the four heads of the leopard.
With the end of ancient Rome the fate of the leopard was still not sealed. Still it had two further heads.
On the area of the West Roman Realm, which was fallen in the year 476, the Holy Roman Realm of German Nation was borned in the year 962, which is represented by the third head of the leopard:
The Germanic tribes of Franconias, which resided originally at the Lower Rhine, had pushed itself gradually to the Southwest, forward into the Roman province Gaul. The largest king of Franconias was Karl. He united a large part of the formerly west Roman realm under his sceptre. Therefore he assumed the title of Roman emperors to Christmas 800. And the west Roman imperial rule was gone onto the Franconias.
The first German king, who carried the Roman emperor crown, was Otto I., which gave the history the surname the Great. Under its government, Germany come into an inheritance of Karl the Great, took over it for centuries the guidance in the medieval Occident. 11Otto I. was crowned in Rom on 962-02-02 to an Emperor. ...971 he achieved the acknowledgment of his imperial reign by Byzantium. 12
By the emperor coronation Otto I. and the acknowledgment of his imperial reign by Byzantium, the falling Roman imperial reign was connected with the German regal dignity. And in competition to the east Roman Byzanz followed after the West Roman Realm the Holy Roman Realm, which received in 15. Century still the addition German Nation:
Holy Roman Realm German Nation (Sacrum Imperium Romanum Nationis Germanicae) is the official designation of the German realm since the emperor coronation of Otto I. (February 962). Already since the delegation of the Roman imperial status to Karl the Great (25th dec. 800), was made assert the idea about a follow-up in the 476 destroyed West Roman Imperial Reign. As a result of the constantly unification of the Roman emperor crown with the German regality under Otto I. found this thought of the continuation of the Roman Realm by the German kings expression in the designation: Holy Roman Realm German Nation. 13
Holy Roman Realm, the official name for the sphere of influence of the occidentally Roman Emperor and with him allied realm territories from the Middle Ages to 1806. Developed it in the follow-up of the Ancient Roman realm and in competition to the east Roman Byzantine realm and as new edition of a re-establishment of the West Roman Realm under Karl the Great. 14
In the year 1806, when Napoleon formed the Rhine Federation from the German states on the Rhine and so dissolved the Holy Roman Realm, Franz II. laid down the Roman Emperor crown with the words: "We, Franz II., see the tape, which bounded us up to now to the state body of the German Realm, as solved on and regard the imperial realm office by the unification of the Rhenish statuses as expired." 15
With that and with the statement (in context with the abdication of the Roman Emperor crown) of 1806, the Holy Roman Realm is expired, he did hurt the realm law´s, but with that he could however destroy Napoleon's strive to the Roman Emperor crown. 16
The Second German Empire was on January 18th. 1871 re-established with the take over and renewal of the German imperial status, which was inactive for more than 60 years, and is represented by the fourth and last head of the leopard:After the "Holy Roman Realm German Nation" followed the "Second German Empire".
From Prussia was outgoing the wars of liberation proceeded against Napoleon, in which Austria and finally also the troops of the resolving Rhine Federation participated.Below an excerpt from the emperor proclamation of January 17th. 1871 to give a lecture in the houses of the state parliament:On the Viennese congress took place the re-organization of Europe and Germany. Emperor and Realm were not renewed, as many patriots had dreamed of it, but the powerless German Federation was created, which summarized the 38 German states only loosely. Only as Bismarck 1862 became Prussian Prime Minister, he received the power to achieve, almost alone and from time to time against the will of the Germans, the unification.
The against an unification striving France were defeated in the year 1870/71. The common victories of all German nations had waked the togetherness. The princes, first and foremost King Ludwig II. of Bavaria, as well as the peoples addressed therefore to King William the request to assume the German Emperor title. The King fulfilled the desire, and that in the year 1806 broken down German Empire was re-established on January 18th. 1871.
Hubertus Prinz zu Löwenstein explain supplementing for this in his book about the German History the following:To the German people: We Wilhelm, King of Prussia by the grace of God, after the German Princes and the independent cities had addressed the unanimous call to us, by the re-establishment of the German Realm, the german imperial status, which is since more than 60 years inactive, to renew and to take over, and since in the constitution of the German Federation is given the appropriate regulations, declare hereby, that we regarded it as an obligation in relation to the common native country to follow and carry out this call of the allied german Princes and cities and will assume the german imperial status... Bismarck. 17
In the proclamation of January 18th. 1871 is spoken of the unanimous call, "by the re-establishment of the German Realm, the since more than 60 years inactive german imperial status to renew and to take over". Thus was not only taken up the legal succession of the Holy Roman Realm, but also expressed markedly the unbroken continuity of the realm. 17a
As the again strengthened German Empire, which was grown up to a strongest mainland nation under the guidance of Bismarck, went on the way of the imperialistic policy and of the allocation of the world took its proportion (colonies in Africa and in the Pacific Ocean) and the guidance not only in Europe, but also in the world aimed, it has got the enmity of England. The German fleet, which was rised in few years to the second-strongest merchant fleet and war fleet of the world, worried England. When Emperor Wilhelm II. rejected the offer of England, the building of the fleets to co-ordinate in relative strengths 16:10, turned England against Germany and allied themselves with France and Russia.
The soon following First World War brought the allied Central Powers not only a heavy defeat and the fall of the Second German Empire, but sealed also the end of the Roman-German history.
The divided Anglo American world power.
After the fall of the second German empire first England took over the guidance in the world, then surrendered it, after the Second World War, to the USA.
England belonged around A.D. 410 to the Roman realm. In 5. and 6. Century was conquered it by the Anglo and Saxony. In 9. Century became it under the king of Wessex an united kingdom. Favoured by his geographical location ascended it in the course of the centuries to a strong sea and colonial power.
In the wars against the French revolution and Napoleon, finally it succeeded England to strike together with its continental allied ones, France so crucially that Britain thereby ascended to the exclusive world- sea- and colonial power. After the victory against the Central Powers achieved it the high point of its political power.
The United States of America, which were founded since 1783 by the peace by Versailles from 13 anglo-american colonies and after the secession war(1861-65) by their economic time of prosperity has become to a world power, kept itself at the first time neutral after the outbreak of the First World War, although president Wilson tended just like the large majority of the American people to the formerly mother country. In the year 1917 they occurred then nevertheless on the side of England in the fight and helped thereby the allied ones to the victory. Although the victory had brought the position of a world power beside England to the USA, the isolationism among the successors won again at strength. Nevertheless the USA could keep out not completely from world politics and participated in international conferences and agreements for disarmament and to economic questions.
The intervention of the United States in the First World War had affected however the world and sea power position of England unfavorably. The sea-disarmament conference of Washington determined the equalness of the American with the English battle fleet (1921/1922) and England began itself since this time to stay as a world power behind the United States.
In the Second World War, which begun by the power efforts of Hitler, the military and political initiative moved ever more into the hands of America and the Soviet Union, and at the end of the war England was as world power dropped back to the third place.
The economic fall forced England to take up loans capital of the USA and the structure of the British Commonwealth of Nations loosened itself considerably; Ireland separated 1948 from the Empire, India became independently, Canada, New Zealand and Australia followed the USA. Also in the British sphere of influence, e.g. in Greece and Turkey, the USA stepped to the place of England.
Societies of peace and representatives of the liberalism detected in 19. Century the necessity for a supranational organization or a universal state for preventing military conflicts. But only the demands for a federation of free nations, set up by the American president Thomas W. Wilson at the end of the First World War, brought a concrete success:
"A general union of the nations must be formed by special agreements, which will form a mutual security for the political independence and territorial inviolability of the small and the large nations." Thus were the contents of his last article about his fourteen-points program.
By intensive efforts of the American president succeeded it to receive at the Paris conference of peace the agreement of the remaining powers for the formation of this organization. On April 28, 1919 the statute of the League of Nations was assumed; as its aim was it to receive the peace and security and the promotion of co-operation among the peoples. The headquarter of the general secretary's office of the League of Nations was Geneva, where the council of the League of Nations met annually four times. 18
Original members were 32 allied war opponents of the Central Powers and 13 neutral states; their members was reduced about three: The USA, Ecuador and Hedschas did not ratify the Parisian suburb contracts and thus also not the statute of the League of Nations. Between 1920 and 1937 acquired 21 further states the membership. Until 1942 left 20 states the League of Nations, among them the USSR, which as the only one state was excluded (1940 in connection with the Finnish-Soviet winter war). 19
Its function, to keeping the peace, could fulfilled the League of Nations only in a few insignificant cases, and its speak out for a global disarmament remained without success.
1933 left Germany the League of Nations. 1937 it followed Italy. The effectiveness of the organization was completely paralyzed by the outbreak of the Second World War on December 11, 1939 assembled it at the last time... The United Nations became in the year 1945 the successor of the League of Nations...
Supported by the experiences of the League of Nations, in the year 1944 was prepared in Dumbarton Oaks (USA) the fundamentals of the Charter of the United Nations. 20
In the summer 1945, still before the war against Japan was terminated, the Organization of the United Nations (UNO) was founded in San Francisco. Already for this reason that the foundation and the establishment was in America, got the UNO a larger prestige than the old League of Nations. Besides the UNO was equipped with a strong board of directors, the security council, which was meant as a kind of world government, an absolute novelty in the political history. (Source: P.M. Against this historical
background will clearly that with the ten kings those
peoples or nations are addressed, which formed after the First World War
and under the guidance of England an alliance, at first as the League of
Nations and later then, after the second World War, under the guidance
of the USA as the United Nations.
Why Daniel does speak only
of ten kings, although the membership of the League of Nations
were altogether 66 nations, and into the United Nations are entered already
185 nations, can be explained easily. In the parable of the kingdom of
Heaven, Jesus compares the Christian community with five intelligent
and five foolish virgins. And so, as these ten virgins
represents symbolically the entire Christianity, equally represents also
the ten kings from the Daniel prophecy the total membership
of the League of Nations and the United Nations.
An impressive supplement and confirmation get the following interpretation of Daniel by the already mentioned dream of the babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar.
In the book of Daniel is reported, the king had at night, when he was laid on his bed and thought over the future of his realm, a significant dream, which worried him internally in such a way that he did not find his sleep.
On the other morning he requested the wise men of his country, to declare him both, the dream and the interpretation. But he did not want to indicate the dream to them, they saw themselves unable to follow the request of the king.
Disappointed and angry over the inability of his advisors, Nebuchadnezzar decided thereupon, to let kill all the wise men, astrologers, soothsayers and magicians of his country. The prophet Daniel, which as distinguished Jewish prisoners was standing in the service of the king and thus also would be fallen under the death sentence, let itself lead to the king and explained to him:
The secret, for which the king asks, cannot say the wise men, the scholars, the astrologers and the soothsayers to the king. But there is a God in heaven, that revealeth secrets and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall happen in the future times.With your dream and your visions, when you slept, it happened the following in such a way: You, king, thought on your bed, which would happen that once; and that, which reveals secrets, revealed to you, what will happen.
But this secret was revealed to me, not as if my wisdom would be larger than the wisdom of all, which live there, but so that to the king the interpretation was revealed and that you mightest know the thoughts of your heart:
You, king, had a dream, and see, a large, high and lightshining statue stood before you, that were terriblly to be regarded.
The head of the statue was made of fine gold, its chest and arms was from silver, its belly and its lumbar was from copper, its thigs was from iron, its feet partly from iron and partly from clay.
You sawes that, until a stone came down, without any help of human hands; The stone hit the statue at its feet, which were from iron and clay, and crushed them... But the stone, which smashed the statue, became a large mountain, so that it filled the whole world. That is the dream.
And now we want to say the interpretation before the king:
You, king, are a king of all kings, to who the God of the heaven gave kingdom, power, strength and glory... You are the golden head.
And after you, an another kingdom shall arise, inferior than yours, thereafter the third kingdom which is from copper and shall prevail over all country.
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong like iron; because like iron everything crushes and smashes, how iron everything breaks, then it also everything shall crush and shall break.
That you sawest the feet and toes partly from clay and partly from iron, it means: that shall be a divided kingdom; but something of the iron hardness shall remain in it, as you saw iron blended with clay.
And that the toes at its feet are partly from iron and partly from clay, it means: partially it shall be a strong and partially a weak realm.
And that you saw iron blended with clay, it means: They themselves will mix/form an alliance with all another by entering into alliances, but they will nevertheless not hold together, exactly the same as also iron can not mingle with clay.
But in the days of these kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom, that will never be destroyed; and his kingdom will never devolve upon an another nation. It will crush and destroy all these kingdoms; but it itself will remain eternal... - Dan. 2.
Also in the dream vision Nebuchadnezzars becomes, how already in the night vision Daniels, several successively following world realms symbolical represented. In the case of Nebuchadnezzar, there are no fabulous beast, but materially particularly characterized parts of the body and limbs of an image like a man, which is be made up of gold, silver, copper, iron and clay.
Both visions originated from the time of the new babylonian (Chaldeans) world realm:
The dream Nebuchadnezzars from the beginning time and the night vision Daniels from the last time. And both visions end with the beginning of the God realm. Therefore extend they over the same historical period, however with the difference that in Nebuchadnezzars dream vision Babylon is also included into the interpretation:
" You, king, are that golden head ".
During in the night vision Daniels, as already above in detail described, the chronological of the successive following world realms begins with Medo-Persia.
With an appropriate comparison of these two prophecys this view will be still affirmed; because, after a comparison, quite specific parallels results between them, which refer expressionful to it,which of the both figuratively representations ( Daniel / Nebuchadnezzar ) historically belongs together and does embody the same world realm:

The first (beast) was like a lion, and it had wings like an eagle. I saw, how the wings were taken of it. And it was lifted up from the ground, so that it stood on two feet like a man, and a human heart was given to it. |

First it is noticeable that the number of the limbs in both representations corresponds complete:Parallel and corresponding features:
And such as already in the prophecy of the ram and the billy goat, the ram represents by its two differently high horns the kings of Media and Persia, equally embody both, the two feet of the lion, and the two arms at the silver chest of the statue the Medo-Persian double monarchy.The LION is standing on t w o feet like a man.At the silver CHEST of the statue are two arms.
Still more striking however is the parallel to the human heart; because this human heart, which was given to the Medo-Persian lion, that is - even if it will not mentioned expressly - regarded from the anatomical point of view also in the silver chest of the statue in existence.

And behold, another beast, the second, which looked like a bear and it was raised up on one of its sides and had in his muzzle under his teeth three large, long teeth. And one spoke to it: "Rise up and devour much flesh!" |

The belly of the statue is very well suitable for taking up much flesh, which the Greek bear devoured with the conquest of Persia.Parallel and corresponding features:

At the first sight it does seem so, that there are no parallels between the leopard and the thighs of the statue. But on closer inspection we will discover that the thighs of the statue, which consist of two upper and two lower thighs, obvious have a unambiguously and informative parallel to the four heads of the leopards. Because so, as the leopard represents with its four heads the Roman-German history, equally embodies also the four parts of the thighs, which are partly side by side and partly successively arranged at the legs, the four realms of the Roman-German history, which existed partly side by side, like Byzantium and the West Roman Realm, and partly successively arose, like the Holy Roman Realm of German Nation and the second German Empire.

Whereupon appeared to me in my night vision suddenly a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible and extraordinarily strongly; it had enormous teeth from iron; it devoured around itself and crushed, and trampled the residue with its feet; and it was quite differently from all the previous beasts and had also still ten horns. |

In the night vision Daniels will represented England and the USA by the fourth beast and in the dream vision Nebuchadnezzars as divided realm by the two feet of the statue - two world powers, which are historically closely indebted together and were formerly united, before in the year 1783 the Anglo-American colonies have separated itself from the mother country and founded the United States of America.
England, which was up to the year 476 part of the iron west-Roman realm, is the iron foot of the statue and the USA is represented by the clay foot.
And like the fourth beast
is carrier of the ten horns and the two feet of the statue
are carrier of the twice five toes, equally also first the
iron England take over the guidance in the League of Nations and surrendered
it then, after the foundation of the United Nations, to the superpower USA.
After we know now the historical meaning of the four large beasts from the night vision Daniels, it should be possible to solve now also the mystery of the seven headed beast.
John saw the beast for the first time, as it was coming up out of the sea of peoples. Afterwards it appeared him again in the desert, where it disappeared in the Abyss. When John was astonished about it, the angel, who carried him away in the spirit into a desert, asked him:
Why are you so astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of (...) the beast, which has the seven heads and ten horns.First the explanation of the angel seems to be very mysterious and confusing. But if we concern ourselfes more exactly with it, we will - supported by the current historical Daniel interpretation - soon recognize the deeper sense of these dark words.The beast, which you sawest, had been there (already in former times) and is (now) nolonger (there); but it will again come up out of the Abyss and goes into the perdition ; there will be astonished the inhabitants of the earth, those, their name are not written in the book of the life since foundation of the world, if they see the fact that the beast, which had been there and is no longer there and will be again there.
And here is the mind necessary, which is paired with wisdom:
The seven heads are seven mountains... and mean (at the same time) seven kings: five from them (already) have fallen, the one (sixth) is (now) there, the other one (seventh) is yet not come, and if he came, he may remain only a short time.
Furthermore the beast, which was and (now) is no longer there, is even the eighth and belonged nevertheless to the sevens and goes into the perdition.
And the ten horns, which you saw, are ten kings, which do not yet have the reign received (begun), but they receive their royal force to the same hour at the same time with the beast.
These (ten) have unanimous sense and place its power and force to the beast at the disposal. These will fight with the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them - because he is the Lord of the lords and the King of the kings - with his combat comrades, the appointing and the chosen few and the faithful followers. -Rev. 17 (Source: Menge-Bible)
In accordance with the explanation of the angel the seven heads of the beast mean seven mountains and (at the same time) also seven kings. In the imagery and metaphor language of the Bible the mountain is the symbol for a king or a world realm. Thus for example in the dream vision Nebuchadnezzars the realm of God is compared with a stone, which became a large mountain. (Dan.235; 244-45)
According to the interpretation Daniels we can assume confidently, that the seven heads of the beast, which mean seven mountains, are also seven world realms, which came up successively out from the sea of peoples.
Five of them are well-known us from the Daniel prophecy: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome (with the four following realms of Roman-German history) and Anglo America.
The two remaining world realms had already existed before Babylon: Egypt, which came in the year 663 B.C. under assyrian reign. And Assyria, which was conquered 612 B.C. together by the Babylonians and Medes.
Johannes received the Apocalypse in the first century of our Christian calendar. Five world realms were in the meantime fallen: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon,Medo-Persia and Greece.
With the sixth world realm, of which the angel says: the one is there, concerns it certainly about the roman empire, which followed on Greece, and which had reached the high point of its power in the first Christian century, and with its four realms (East Rome, West Rome, Holy Roman Realm of German Nation and Second German Empire) look it back on 2000 years Roman-German history.
After the Second German Empire, followed England and the USA as divided seventh world power. England, which took over at first the guidance in the world after the First World War, was displaced after the Second World War by the USA on the second place.
And as 1949 the USSR moved up to the countries, which possessing atomic weapons, was the balance of power between east and west almost balanced by the equilibrium of the fright; on the one side the NATO countries with the superpower USA, and on the other side the Warsaw Pact countries with the superpower USSR.
Furthermore the beast, which was there (already in former times) and (now) is no longer there, is even the eighth and belonged nevertheless to the sevens and goes into the perdition. And the ten horns, which you saw, are ten kings, who do not yet have the reign received (begun), but they receive their royal force to the same hour at the same time with the beast. These (ten) have unanimous sense and place its power and force to the beast at the disposal.
How already the League of Nations and the United Nations in the night vision Daniels by the ten horns of the fourth beast and in the dream vision Nebuchadnezzars are embodied by those twice five toes of the statue, equally these two world-wide organizations are represented also in the Revelation of John symbolically by the ten horns of the seven headed beast. (Offb.1712-13)
Based on the process of the world history we know that at the end of the First World War, by the initiative of the USA and under the guidance of England the League of Nations was founded. As the League of Nations could however not fulfill the expectations of the commonwealth of nations - to maintain the world peace - and 20 countries left the organization, sank it with outbreak of the Second World War into the Abyss, about again as the United Nations at the end of the war rise up from the ashes/dead, like the bird Phoenix from the ashes.

And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had made the miraculous signs before him. With these signs he had tempted those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped his image. These both were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning brimstone. - Rev.19;19-20. |
Obviously form the USA together with the United Nations, which are embodied both in the night vision Daniels by the fourth beast with the ten horns and in the dream vision Nebuchadnezzars by the feet and toes of the statue, form together the last world-political guidance power on the earth; because Daniel saw, how the statue was hit by a stone at its feet and toes and destroyed completely.
And so, how the fourth beast
together with its ten horns and the little horn, which was out-grown between
the ten horns from the fourth beast, will thrown into the fire -
because it was meant them time and hour, how long everyone shall alive
- equally saw also the apostle John in the Apocalypse, how the
seven headed beast - which at first as "the beast from the sea of
peoples" embodied the League of Nations, and later than as "the
beast out of the Abyss" symbolizes the United Nations - together
with the false prophet will thrown into the lake of fire.

I saw in the night vision, and behold, one like a Son of Man came in the clouds of heaven to the venerable old man, and they led him near before him. The venerable old man gave him dominion, glory and realm, so that all peoples, folks and languages should serve him. His dominion is forever and will not pass away, and his kingdom will never endings. |
